Eleven Restaurant | Lisbon
GROUP DINNER | DAY 2 | April 19, 2019

Located in the heart of Lisbon’s business district, overlooking the entire city, Eleven is more than a restaurant—it is a place of culture and art, both at the table and beyond. At its helm is Chef Joachim Koerper, a Michelin-starred chef and master of Mediterranean Cuisine. In this intimate and elegant setting, you’ll have a bird’s eye view of the city and a chance to get to know your Globe hosts and fellow guests. Enjoy cocktails and a selection of hors d’oeuvres on the rooftop deck, followed by an exquisite dinner and paired tastings.

A favourite of Portuguese nobility who resided here from the 15th century through to the late 19th century, the Palacio Nacional Sintra is the best-preserved medieval royal palace in Portugal and the site of our second group dinner. Following a private tour of the decorative state rooms and cocktails in the central courtyard, we’ll retire to the Swan Room where you’ll have a taste of traditional Portuguese fare with a Michelin-inspired menu.

GROUP DINNER | DAY 10 | APRIL 27, 2019

We can think of no better setting for our final dinner than at The Graham’s 1890 Lodge, located on a commanding ridge in Via Nova de Gaia with spectacular views of Porto’s historic city centre. With three centuries of craftsmanship and heritage behind it, it is no surprise. Graham’s today is still a working cellar. During our private tour, you’ll have a chance to stroll through the museum featuring letters from presidents and queens, the cellar room with rows upon rows of barrels and large oak vats, the family cellar with decades-old bottles of Port arranged by year and through the expansive tasting room and into the vintage room where the massive leather-bound ledgers are stored. In the Vinum restaurant and wine bar, you’ll be treated to some of the best food that the Tràs-os-Montes region has to offer, each dish expertly paired with the Douro’s fine wines.
